THRIVING sustainable fashion chain White Rose has opened the doors to its 17th location after we transacted a prime Beeston property.

We let a prime location to White Rose’s second situated on Beeston’s pedestrianised high street, High Road, which will add almost 800 sq ft to its offering in the area.

Known across the East Midlands for providing hand-picked recycled clothing, White Rose was originally founded in 2009 by two Nottingham Trent University students and has seen its popularity soar, expanding to 16 stores across Nottingham, Sheffield, Leicester, Newark, and Derby.

Lee Reynolds, general manager of White Rose’s new store, said: “We’re excited to be bringing more of our high-quality recycled fashion to the Beeston area and to offer the opportunity for its students and other members of the community to volunteer with us.

“There’s a wonderful community feel in Beeston that we’re thrilled to be becoming a greater part of. Its high street is always bustling with energy and so we thought this was an ideal location for us to expand to, supporting the overwhelmingly positive demand we’ve seen for our current location there already. Innes England has been very helpful and simplified the process for us.

“We’re looking forward to  providing a wide range of affordable recycled fashion for every kind of customer.”

Sam Hall, our associate director who handled the deal, said: “Beeston offers a range of opportunities for retail businesses to flourish – its central high street is already home to several great brands including Poundland, Holland & Barrett, and Boots.

“On top of this, the town has also been seeing investment from large developers, such as the recently green lit mixed-use project by Cassidy Group which includes more student housing.

“White Rose was looking for a prime location that would capitalise on the high footfall without taking customers from their other store on the same street. The property we let to them achieves this well, and the feedback we had from White Rose was very positive.”
