Trampoline park ‘jumps’ into Huntingdon Street

  • Planet Bounce is set to land at The Glasshouse in Nottingham

NOTTINGHAM will become the latest city to embrace one of the most popular trends of recent years when a brand new indoor trampoline park, Planet Bounce, lands in the city.

Innes England has agreed terms with an investor who plans to bring the craze to The Glasshouse in Huntingdon Street this summer.

Planet Bounce will occupy 18,000 sq ft of floor space and will include over 70 interconnected trampolines as well as a large café area for families to enjoy.

Ben Taylor, head of retail agency at Innes England, handled the deal. He said: “We’re really excited about helping to bring indoor trampolining to Nottingham for the first time – there are only a handful of these centres across the UK, but with the growing trend, we’ve been inundated with similar requirements since the beginning of 2015. Securing Nottingham’s first will give the business a great start to secure market share.

“Trampolining is all the rage and is already huge in both America and Australia, and the UK looks set to see an explosion of similar centres in the coming years.

“The Glasshouse is a great location for this use as it is in the heart of the city and is easily accessible for families looking for a fun day out.”

“The new trampoline park will offer a brilliant day out for the kids, but is also great for adults too – I am sure this new facility will be extremely popular with the people of Nottingham,” added Ben.

David Smith, one of the directors at Planet Bounce, said:  "As well as stacks of regular trampolines we also have dodge ball trampoline courts, an aeroball court and a massive trampoline airbag feature. Planet Bounce is going to jump-start trampolining in Nottingham and we are pleased to be opening this summer.”

The trampoline park will offer hour long sessions that give the public access to the whole facility as well as dedicated sessions for toddlers, teenagers and birthday celebrations.
