AN EXPANDING business has moved into new premises in Alfreton.
Family run AC Engineering Services operates within the precision engineering industry and services clients throughout the UK and Europe.
Since the firm’s inception in 1982, AC Engineering has had ambitious plans for growth and on-going success has led to the business needing larger, better quality premises in Alfreton.
Dean Coxhead from AC Engineering said: “We previously operated out of a 2000 sq ft workshop. We were looking for a freehold property near our existing location and the unit on Venture Crescent offered good quality space with far superior loading facilities and an accessible location close to the dual carriageway, which is an important factor as it allows us to service our clients throughout the UK and Europe. The new premises will house our state of the art machinery and equipment and allow for future growth.”
The premises are in Venture Crescent within the Motorway Link Industrial Estate in Alfreton and comprise of a semi-detached industrial warehouse offering over 5,200 sq ft of space.
Having been fully refurbished, the property provides quality accommodation that includes roof lights, high bay lighting, a gas blower heater, office space and staff facilities, plus ample car parking.
Tim Richardson, associate director at Innes England, handled the deal on behalf of landlord M7. He said: “The Venture Crescent property presented a good opportunity for AC Engineering to move to larger and better quality premises. The accommodation meets the requirements of the growing business and I wish them every success there.”
The Motorway Link Industrial Estate has excellent access to the A38 dual carriageway which provides fast access to Derby and the West Midlands. The estate is also only three miles from junction 28 of the M1 Motorway.
