Where there’s a will, there’s an expansion

NOTTS-BASED firm The Will Writing Company has acquired a new office at Ergo House, Ruddington Field Business Park, to accommodate its growing needs.

Now the UK’s leading firm of specialist will writers, the company has recently taken on four two more consultants and two head office staff and is recruiting again. The firm currently employs 50 employees and the aim is to triple the workforce in three years.

Innes England acted on behalf of The Will Writing Company to secure the self-contained, ground-floor office accommodation as part of their continued success and expansion plans.

Craig Straw, director at Innes England’s Nottingham office, said: “Ergo House provides high quality office accommodation along with a strategic location which allows space for growth, ease of access and good parking facilities for employees. It is ideally suited to The Will Writing Company’s current needs and plans for the future.”

The Will Writing Company has relocated from its previous premises in Nottingham city centre, to benefit from the larger single floor plate suite and increased parking spaces available at Ergo House.

Tom Gormanly, managing director of The Will Writing Company said: “We’re looking forward to moving into our new and more practical office which will improve internal communications.

“The site combined with the quality of accommodation is vital as we aim to continue growing and look to take on more employees in the short term. It’s exciting to find a new office that suits our business needs for the foreseeable future.”

The firm, which writes wills and provides a range of services from power of attorney to probate, was founded in the 1990s and now attracts thousands of clients every year.

“The Will Writing Company’s recent growth has been driven by its strengthened relationship with banks and building societies and other financial service businesses which in turn have led to an increase of client referrals,” said Tom.

James Hartley, associate director at FHP, acting on behalf of the landlords, Ergo Computing Limited, said: “I am pleased to have secured the letting of the vacant ground floor office suite to an expanding Nottingham-based firm. This is yet another sign of the attraction of well-presented office accommodation outside of the Workplace Parking Levy.”

Ergo House is situated on the established Ruddington Field Business Park, located approximately two miles south of Nottingham city centre. It provides a modern, ground floor office suite of 2,706 sq ft for The Will Writing Company, which has taken on a ten year sub-lease.

Further space in Ergo House is still available which offers 2,544 sq ft of high specification office accommodation.
