Prestigious title is ‘done deal’ for Nottingham Agent

  • Surveyor Ross Whiting

Nottingham-based commercial property agent Ross Whiting has scooped a prestigious industry accolade.

The Business Space surveyor at Innes England has been named as ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ for Nottinghamshire in the Estates Gazette Interactive competition after completing more deals in the county than any other agent during the last 12 months.

Speaking of his title, Ross said: ‘2018 was a good year for the team in Nottingham; I’m delighted that our work has been recognised by the EGi’s annual competition and very proud to have won this award.

‘The property market is continuing to grow in Nottingham. There is an increased demand for freehold offices due to the current lack of Grade A stock and it is providing a great opportunity for property owners who are willing to speculatively refurbish their buildings or build new stock.’

Ross joined Innes England in 2015, after graduating with a First in Planning and Development from Nottingham Trent University.

Over the course of 2018, Ross secured a wide range of deals including selling the former Bilborough Baptist church, leasing offices at King Edward Court and securing a new tenant for a nightclub in Mansfield.

Matthew Hannah, Head of Agency at Innes England said: ‘This is an impressive achievement for someone so early on in their career. Ross consistently puts in hard work to ensure his clients receive exceptional service and this award is very well deserved.’

Throughout the East Midlands, Innes England completed more than 230 deals across the industrial, office, retail, leisure and investment sectors for its clients over the course of the year.
