Prestigious title is “done deal” for Derby agent

  • Nick Hosking

Commercial agent Nick Hosking has scooped an industry accolade this month recognising his work across Derbyshire.

During the Estates Gazette Interactive competition, the Innes England director was named as ‘Dealmaker’ for the county, beating his competitors to the punch with a flurry of deals.

This year’s Estates Gazette Interactive competition marks a second win for Nick, who was awarded the title in 2015. To win the ‘Dealmaker’ title, Nick completed more deals than competitors in Derbyshire over the past 12 months.

Speaking of his title, Nick said: “I am delighted to once again have won the EG dealmaker of the year award. It's great news following Innes England’s recent success in picking up the East Midlands Most Active Agent title for the 10th consecutive year.”

Nick, who has been with the firm 20 years, has extensive knowledge of Derbyshire and its commercial property market.

Over the course of 2016, Nick secured a number of significant deals including: handling a multi-million pound investment sale on behalf of MCR, advising on the disposal of Gervase House in Derby City Centre and acting on behalf of LCR in the disposal of Faraday and Hartley House - which was Derby’s largest office transaction of 2016.

Throughout the East Midlands, Innes England completed more than 400 deals across the industrial, office, retail, leisure and investment sectors for its clients over the course of the year.
