Notts enterprise zone up for grabs

BUSINESSES hoping to take advantage of the benefits an Enterprise Zone brings could be in luck as two Nottingham property agents have been appointed jointly to market a range of units at Beeston Business Park.

The mixed-used development to the west of Nottingham was purchased last year by a joint venture between Bridges Ventures (Bridges) and Chancerygate in a multi-million pound deal.

Scott Osborne, associate director at Innes England, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to take advantage of what an Enterprise Zone has to offer, with the additional benefit of being well located both for Nottingham city centre and the M1 motorway.

“The site can cater for a wide variety of potential occupiers and, given the lack of stock in the current market, I am sure that we will be able to accommodate a range of requirements but ask anyone interested to get in touch.

“Some 12,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation, known as unit W, is currently undergoing refurbishment with further space at Waterfront House to be revamped speculatively – both of which we expect to be well received.

“We hope that the regeneration of Beeston Business Park will transform it into a hub for smaller businesses to grow, creating a number of jobs in the process.”

Beeston Business Park comprises 412,000 sq ft of office and industrial accommodation across a range of buildings, with approximately 20-acres cleared for development.

Associate director at FHP, Mark Tomlinson added: “We are very pleased to be involved in the marketing on what is one of Nottingham’s most longstanding and established business parks especially at this time given the improvement in market conditions and the forward thinking approach of the new owners.

“We have a range of open storage compounds immediately available with plans for larger warehouse / production units and some 20,000 sq ft of open plan headquarter offices which are due to be refurbished in the coming months.”

Innes England and FHP will be marketing a range of accommodation at the Business Park including offices, storage and secure compounds.
