INNES ENGLAND has helped fitness equipment hire company Indoor Sport Services to sell its premises at a well-established Nottingham industrial estate, as it prepares to expand.
Located at Vermont House in Wilford Industrial Estate, West Bridgford, the 18,000 sq ft unit has been sold to Birmingham-based investor EPIL, which has an extensive UK based property portfolio and experience in refurbishing commercial and business units.
The unit was sold by Ross Whiting at Innes England on behalf of Indoor Sport Services, which has now relocated to Trent Gateway at Beeston Business Park due to its need for more space.
The sports company has also previously worked with Innes England on the recent sale at another one of its premises at Lady Bay Church on Trent Boulevard in West Bridgford, which was formerly tenanted by Junkyard Bar & Kitchen.
Ross Whiting, associate director at Innes England, said: “We have a great working relationship with Indoor Sports Services following the successful sale of the firm’s building in Lady Bay, at the end of last year. We pride ourselves on being able to secure the best results for our clients, and it is incredibly rewarding to work with repeat clients who trust us and value our in-depth knowledge of the East Midlands commercial property sector.
“Wilford Industrial Estate is seen as one of the prime industrial estates in Nottingham thanks to its desirable location in West Bridgford so we received high levels of interest in Vermont House from a number of businesses.
“As we saw from our recent Market Insite webinar, which monitors trends in the regional property market across Nottingham, Leicester and Derby, the industrial sector is leading the way for the region, particularly during the pandemic. We are delighted to be continuously disposing industrial property in the region, demonstrating the strength and demand of the industrial market.”
Sam Sutton director at Phillips Sutton who acted for EPIL commented: “We identified this unit for our client as a good opportunity to add value in a market lacking good quality well located warehouse stock. It offers scope to split, refurbish and relet which fits our client’s model perfectly. Sitting prominently at the front of the estate, it will appeal to a variety of occupiers.”
Ian Wilson chairman at Indoor Sports Services, said: “We are really pleased with Ross and the team at Innes England’s ability to secure such a great outcome and a strong sale for Vermont House. We chose to appoint Innes England due its professional attitude, knowledge of the industrial market and expertise of the local area. Having worked with Innes on a previous sale, we knew what level of service to expect and we have since built up a good relationship with the firm.”
