INNES ENGLAND HELPS OFFICE BUILDING TRANSFORM INTO NEW HUB FOR ENTREPRENEURS

  •

INNES England has helped a new entrepreneur hub get off the ground in Nottingham, after local property development firm Younas and Virdi Group acquired Lancaster House, a city-centre serviced office building, earlier this month.

The 10,000 sq ft space, located in Sherwood Rise, New Basford, offers three floors of office space as well as parking for 30 vehicles. The family-run developer plans to refurbish the space and seek planning permission to extend the property within the next 12 months.

Innes England acted on behalf of Younas and Virdi Group to acquire the property in an off-market deal, with J&R Estates acting as vendor. The building was successfully sold for an undisclosed sum, adding to Innes England’s strong track record of brokering large corporate deals in the East Midlands.

Ross Whiting, associate director at Innes England, said: “We were really pleased to deliver on the brief we received from the Younas and Virdi Group, particularly as Innes England already markets the office space at the building, we knew there may be a possible opportunity. We’re proud to be helping entrepreneurship grow within the region by acquiring this new office space for the growing company.

“Lancaster House is a fantastic property with lots of excellent features, including its prominent location within the city and close public transport links. Our expertise in commercial property and knowledge of the market was invaluable in securing this deal and I’m delighted that we managed to get the deal off the ground so smoothly.”

Shamraiz Younas, director at Vounas and Virdi Group, said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Ross and the team at Innes England in acquiring this amazing asset.

“The end-to-end process has been made easy with his sector knowledge and easy-going approach. We’re looking forward to future acquisitions working with Ross and the team at Innes England”
