'The World's Biggest Coffee Morning' is an annual fundraising event for Macmillan Cancer Support, which is designed to encourage people in the UK to host their own Coffee Morning, to help raise money to support those living with cancer.

The team at the Innes England Derby office showed their support with some staff members baking their own cakes, whilst other team members brought some delicious cakes in as shown here. Lily Hosking, who is the 10-year-old daughter of our Director, Nick Hosking also showed her support by baking some delicious angel cakes and ginger biscuits.

The proceeds raised through the sale of the cakes across the two days came to an impressive £125 which we hope makes a difference to those living with cancer.

Special thanks to Debbie Thompson for organising the event, who said:

"The Macmillan Coffee Morning is something we have organised before although unfortunately due to the pandemic, and many of us working from home we have not been able to do for the last 2 years.

It's such an amazing cause and is something we fully support. It was wonderful to see everyone so enthusiastic about deciding what to bake with of course a bit of very friendly rivalry!

We were delighted to receive a merchandise pack from Macmillan with bunting, balloons and tablecloth which added to the occasion."

A huge thank you to everyone that contributed to its success.
