Loneliness is affecting more and more of us in the UK and has had a huge impact on our physical and mental health during the pandemic.
Mental Health Awareness Week this year (9th May - 15th May) is raising awareness of the impact of loneliness on our mental well-being and the practical steps we can take to address it.
On the 4th of May Innes England was delighted to host a company-wide virtual session with Mates in Mind - a mental health charity we're pleased to be supporting.
The session 'start the conversation' was designed to educate the full team on well-being, and the signs to look for in colleagues as well as themselves who may be struggling whilst combatting issues such as anxiety, stress, and loneliness.
Matthew Hannah, Managing Director of Innes England commented:
"We appreciate the challenges of life and business can sometimes fall out of balance and we are delighted to be partnering with Mates in Mind as an independent resource to provide help when needed for our team."
Thanks to all the Innes England team for your attendance.
