Innes England has been appointed to market prestigious former education buildings overlooking one of Leicester’s most famous landmarks.
The site, situated next to Jewry Wall which was once part of the Roman public baths in the city, has until recently been home to Vaughan College, part of the University of Leicester’s Institute of Lifelong Learning.
With the adult educational provision now relocated to the University’s main site, the Grade II listed buildings on St Nicholas Circle became vacant.

Part of the ground floor houses Leicester’s Jewry Wall Museum and above the museum is the former college’s reception, main hall, offices, teaching rooms, library and cafeteria. The interconnected three-storey section has basement level parking for 18 cars with the upper floors providing good sized seminar/classrooms.
Architect Trevor Dannatt made his name after World War Two for his practical building work with the emphasis on thoughtful and sensitive design. He went on to design many school and university buildings, most notably overseeing the transformation of the Royal Naval College buildings at Greenwich into University of Greenwich facilities.
