Forever Mobility scoots into Viking House


FAMILY business Forever Mobility has let new retail premises at Viking House in Swadlincote in Derbyshire.

Forever Mobility is a family business which has been trading for over 20 years. It started out in the motor trade business selling used cars. Over recent years the family looked to expand the business and diversified into the mobility sector.

Mr and Mrs Sherratt, owners of Forever Mobility, already have a mobility aids outlet nearby in High Street, Woodville. They will be using the new premises for additional display space of stairlifts, reclining chairs, electric beds and other associated items.

Lee Sherratt, owner at Forever Mobility, said: “As a family business we wanted to offer a company that our customers can trust and rely on. Excellent customer service is very important to us, which has been the key to our successful car sales business over the last two decades.

“The new location will allow us to extend our display of mobility scooters, power chairs and riser recliners in our showroom. The property suits our needs as a business and offers the space and busy town centre location we were looking for.”

The retail premises are located in High Street, Woodville, at the entrance to the Viking Business Centre. The premises extend to some 1,297 sq ft including ground floor sales with storage.

Tim Richardson from Innes England acted on behalf of the landlord, M7 Real Estate, in the letting. He said: “Following notice by the previous tenants of their intention to vacate we put the premises on the market and received a healthy level of interest. This was mainly due to the busy main road location of the property. We are delighted to have agreed terms to the Sheratts as local entrepreneurs and wish them every success in their business going forward.”

Viking House sits adjoining the Viking Business Centre with both under management of M7 Real Estate. Innes England has recently been appointed as letting agent on the estate and has already agreed a letting of one of the industrial units of 1,330 sq ft with strong interest in two other units. Space is available from 600 sq ft to 1,330 sq ft on competitive flexible lease terms.
