Innes England does the double at regional property awards

INNES England is celebrating after doing the double at the East Midlands Property Dinner awards on Wednesday night (25 September).

The firm was once again awarded Agent of the Year capping a strong year for the property consultancy and reflecting the company’s continued success.

The firm also clinched Deal of the Year in Derby’s biggest ever pre-let deal, which saw logistics giant Kuehne and Nagel take a 632,000 sq ft distribution facility to serve its Heineken contract at Goodman’s Derby Commercial Park.

Innes England’s Derby office acts as local agent for international developer Goodman at its 150-acre Derby Commercial Park. The Kuehne and Nagel pre-let at the Park scooped Deal of the Year, fighting off competition from the new Formula E headquarters at Donington Park.

“Securing the £45m development was a significant achievement and saw the scheme fight off stiff regional competition. The momentum continues and we are currently progressing other deals at Derby Commercial Park with the scheme well positioned to attract regional interest from the ‘big shed’ market but also capable of accommodating smaller requirements from the city’s thriving local industrial sector.
