INNES ENGLAND has been appointed to manage a regional acquisitions programme for the owners of the UK’s largest franchised off licence and convenience chain, Conviviality Retail.

The property consultancy, which has offices in Nottingham, Leicester and Derby, has secured the contract to acquire a number of new stores across the Midlands.

Conviviality Retail operates across England and Wales, with 611 stores under six fascias including Bargain Booze, Booze Select Convenience, Thorougoods and Wine Rack.

Ben Taylor, head of retail agency at Innes England, said: “We are thrilled to have secured what is a significant contract to deliver acquisitions across the wider Midlands area for Conviviality Retail.

“Conviviality wants to add 82 stores to its portfolio over the next 12 months and Innes England is tasked with finding stores in the wider Midlands, including Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire. A majority of the new stores will be acquired by existing and successful franchisees of the group, for the Bargain Booze and Wine Rack formats.

"As a firm, we are ideally placed to be able to deliver these new stores for Conviviality with our offices across the East Midlands in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, giving us fantastic regional coverage.”

Innes England  will be looking to secure units between 800 and 3,000 sq ft on the region’s high streets or within busy local parades with good access to parking.

Conviviality Retail operates as a buying, marketing and logistics business offering a full support package to the company’s franchisees and retail stores.
