NOTTINGHAMSHIRE business Your Embroidery Services (Y.E.S) Ltd has purchased new industrial premises due to expansion of their business.

The sale, which was completed by Innes England on behalf of Vision West Nottinghamshire College, has seen the specialist print machinery distributor purchase a 16,738 sq ft purpose-built facility in Sovereign Way, Mansfield.

Y.E.S Ltd is a prominent UK supplier of industrial embroidery machines and digital printing equipment for the UK textile industry. They also manufacture label printing and finishing equipment that is exported globally together with its digital t-shirt printing machines through the firm’s international subsidiary ‘Impression Technology Europe’, which will also be based at Sovereign Way. The move will immediately create up to five new jobs.

Roy Burton, Y.E.S’s managing director, said: “We are proud to be bringing manufacturing back into this part of Mansfield at our new premises and already we are looking to recruit new members into the team.

“We base the level of our success on the level of success of our global customers and having good quality premises that allows for our continued growth is an important factor. From our great new facility we will offer customer support, technical assistance, full demonstration facilities, not forgetting machine manufacturing for export at a purpose-built facility to assist all potential and existing clients.”

The sale was handled by Scott Osborne at Innes England. He said: “Y.E.S Ltd is a successful, growing business and it is fantastic to be able to help the team secure the new space they needed to continue to deliver excellent results to their customers.

“With our market knowledge we knew that Y.E.S. Ltd were seeking accommodation of this nature, as demonstrated by agreeing a deal within the space of two weeks. The current high demand for commercial accommodation is another indicator of the confidence in the region – in particular the high demand for industrial space. If anyone is considering disposing of a unit I would urge them to make contact as we presently have a number of enquires seeking quality industrial accommodation.”

Formed on 14 February 1995 and originally based at the Boughton Industrial Estate in North Nottinghamshire, Y.E.S Ltd started as a consultancy to the embroidery industry offering a service to find the right machine for the right

customer requirements. The business has since experienced sustained growth and has progressed into hardware, software and consumable products to the textile decoration industry with the subsequent addition in 2004 of Impression Technology Europe and is now one of the largest value-added distributors and manufactures in the UK.

Y.E.S Ltd’s new premises at Sovereign Way are located close to one of the principal routes into Mansfield town centre from the Mansfield and Ashfield ‘MARS’ Regeneration Route providing convenient access to the A38 and M1.

Other nearby occupiers include Unique Kitchens, Honda and Hyundai car dealerships.

Innes England is now marketing a further unit on behalf of West Nottinghamshire College in Acorn Way, which is in close proximity to Sovereign Way, comprising 11,555 sq ft of freehold industrial space.
