Enterprise Zone unit refurb set to attract tenants

Refurbishment works at a popular Nottingham business park have recently been completed in response to increased demand.

Beeston Business Park was bought last year by a joint venture between Bridges Ventures (Bridges) and Chancerygate who have recently completed a full refurb of some 12,000 ft of industrial space within Unit W following the advice of joint letting agents Innes England and FHP.

Associate director at Innes England, Scott Osborne said: “In the current climate there is a real dearth of available units between 5,000 and 15,000 sq ft, and we receive numerous enquiries from tenants seeking accommodation of this nature.

“Unit W now provides clear, open span accommodation which is hugely attractive to occupiers looking to take advantage of the many benefits and incentives associated with being located within the Nottingham Enterprise Zone.

“Beeston Business Park offers 24/7 security and excellent public transport connections, which is ideal for a variety of different occupiers.”

The mixed-use development, which is located to the west of Nottingham city centre, benefits from Enterprise Zone status and comprises 412,000 sq ft of office and industrial accommodation across a range of buildings, with approximately 20 acres cleared for development.

Mark Tomlinson, associate director at FHP, added: “The previous office / lab content of the unit has recently been stripped out to provide excellent quality open span warehousing / production space ready for fit out to an individual tenants’ requirements.

“We feel that this better caters for the underlying demand for commercial space in the market which remains in short supply, especially with such a good-sized yard which is provided at Unit W.  The property also benefits from high levels of on-site car parking on a secure site with plenty of parking and good public transport links.”
