Building Surveyor - Nottingham

We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor with broad industry experience and a passion for commercial property.

Working alongside talented surveyors at all levels, you will be joining a supportive team which covers all aspects of commercial building surveying work.

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role, working with a range of clients. Key responsibilities include

• Project management
• Preparing tender documents
• Preparing condition survey reports
• Preparing dilapidation reports

You will be expected to advise clients, identify new business opportunities as well as maintaining strong current business relationships.

In addition to having good IT skills, you must hold a relevant, RICS-accredited degree, and post-qualification experience is essential.

Ideally, you will recently have achieved Chartered Building Surveyor status (MRICS) but applications from Building Surveyors who are looking to complete their APC are welcome.

Based in our Nottingham office, you will be expected to undertake projects across the country and you must have a valid UK driving licence.

Property Management Surveyor -  Derby

We’re looking for an experienced Surveyor with a passion for commercial property. Working alongside talented surveyors at all levels, you will be joining an established team, providing a market-leading property management service.

Duties include
• Acting as a key point of contact in respect of all matters relating to each property
• Procuring services as required from third party providers
• Effectively managing the property portfolio
• Identifying asset management initiatives which add value and minimise risk

Successful candidates will hold a property-related, RICS-accredited degree and have a practical understanding of commercial property and asset management. Post-qualification experience is essential. Ideally, you’ll be a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) or keen to finish your Assessment of Professional Competence.

You will be expected to advise clients, identify new business opportunities as well as maintaining strong current business relationships.

Based in our Derby office, you must have a valid UK driving licence as you might be expected to travel from time to time.

Graduate Surveyor (Management) - Derby

We're looking for an ambitious graduate who is preparing to qualify as a chartered surveyor. The successful applicant will hold a relevant, RICS-accredited degree and ideally have gained practical work experience in commercial surveying.

Working alongside directors and senior chartered surveyors, you'll join our busy asset management team managing a mixed portfolio of commercial properties, taking responsibility for your own workload.

Duties include
• Day to day management of properties under supervision including liaising with tenants, health and safety and risk management
• Assisting with the annual insurance renewal paperwork and charging
• Property inspections under direction of an experienced surveyor
• Assisting with preparing client reports and attending client meetings

You'll be an energetic, client-focused person with good interpersonal skills and an ability to work under pressure.

You'll also need to hold a full driving licence.
